DMA firmware FAQ.
What you need, what comes with rDMA+, and what to check before ordering. Start here, then use the detailed product and support pages for your next step.
The setup
What is rDMA+?
rDMA+ is SwiftDMA’s network-based DMA product. It uses custom BIOS firmware prepared for your motherboard and BIOS file to enable memory access over LAN. A gaming PC connects to a second PC through the same network or directly by Ethernet. See what the rDMA+ package includes.
Do I need a separate DMA card?
No separate DMA card is required for rDMA+. The setup instead uses prepared BIOS firmware, companion software, and a connection between two compatible PCs. That does not make every motherboard suitable. Our DMA card and network-based setup comparison explains what changes and what still needs checking.
Do I still need two PCs?
Yes. You need a gaming PC and a second PC, connected through the same network or directly by Ethernet. The gaming PC uses the prepared firmware and installer; the second PC runs the supplied launcher. Review the two-PC requirements before choosing equipment or arranging your connection.
Does the firmware include DMA cheats or game software?
No. Separate game-software licences are not included in the rDMA+ order. The package includes the prepared firmware and companion tools for the setup. Tell staff which game and software you intend to use before purchasing. The DMA firmware guide explains the distinction between firmware and game software.
Does rDMA+ support LeechCore-based software?
LeechCore compatibility is included with rDMA+. You should still name the particular software you intend to use when requesting a compatibility check, so staff can assess the proposed setup as a whole. The product page lists the included companion tools and explains which software licences are separate.
Has rDMA+ been tested?
The SwiftDMA team reports over two months of testing with no detections observed during that period. Testing is ongoing across FACEIT, VALORANT, Fortnite, Rust, and CS2. Read the reported testing history for context; it is not a guarantee of every future outcome.
What throughput has been measured?
The supplied benchmark reports 181.88 MB/s total read throughput, with 150,000 pages and zero failed pages. This is one measured run, not a fixed speed for every connection or PC. The performance page includes the test output and comparison criteria.
Buying and compatibility
Can Secure Boot and IOMMU stay enabled?
Secure Boot and IOMMU can remain enabled on supported configurations. Staff need to confirm this for your particular motherboard and BIOS; it is not a promise covering every PC. Include those details in your compatibility check and follow the instructions provided for your configuration.
Which games and environments are supported?
The supported scope includes FACEIT, Vanguard / VGK, EAC, and ACE environments, with VALORANT, Fortnite, Rust, and Counter-Strike 2 listed. Staff confirm your intended game and software alongside your hardware before purchase. Read your game or platform guide and the compatibility details; the list does not guarantee every combination or future update.
How do I check whether my motherboard is compatible?
Send the exact motherboard make and model, current BIOS and Windows versions, second-PC specifications, available connections, and intended game and software in a private ticket. Staff will request the original BIOS file needed for preparation. Use the full compatibility checklist to gather the information before ordering.
How much does rDMA+ firmware cost?
The launch offer is €400 for the first five customers; the standard price is €650. Confirm remaining launch availability in Discord before purchasing. The package details explain what is included. Your complete setup also needs a second PC and any separately required game-software licences.
How do I order from SwiftDMA?
Join the SwiftDMA Discord and open a private ticket with your hardware and software details. Staff confirm compatibility, order contents, current offer availability, and a preparation estimate before purchase. Keep personal and order information in that private conversation. The checklist shows what to have ready.
Warranty and support
What does the three-month firmware warranty cover?
The warranty starts when you receive your firmware. If it stops working within three months, report the failure in a private support ticket within that period. Staff will investigate and repair or replace the firmware at no additional charge. Read the warranty and reporting details before ordering.
Does my firmware access end after three months?
No. Firmware access continues after the three-month warranty ends; the coverage period is not an access-expiry date. Continued access does not extend the repair-or-replacement warranty. For help after that period, describe your situation in a private ticket and ask staff about your case. See access and support details.
